Intensive ESL for Academic Purposes

The Intensive ESL for Academic Course (ESL 700) is designed to help you master the skills required to perform and succeed in an English-speaking academic setting such as a U.S. college or university. This advanced integrated or mixed-skills course is a part of our College Pathway program created for students seeking admission to our partner U.S. colleges and universities and beyond.

The Intensive "EAP" Course: ESL 700

A mixed skills course for students intending to transfer to higher education. Listening/speaking focuses on preparing students for comprehending authentic lectures. Vocabulary building focuses on expansion of academic vocabulary. Reading develops critical thinking skills. Writing works on expository essays. Grammar work provides a review of essential grammar.

College Pathway
